CONCERNED BLACK MEN OF CALVERT HOST SECOND ANNUAL'GALA BY THE BAY' SCHOLARSHIP BANQUET

CHESAPEAKE BEACH, MD (April 14, 1999) -- The Concerned Black Men(CBM) of Calvert County are proud to announce an open invitation to attend their Second Annual 'Gala by the Bay' Scholarship Banquet, being held May 14 at the Rod-n-Reel in Chesapeake Beach starting at 7 p.m.

The gala is a fundraiser for CBM's scholarship fund. That night three Calvert County high school students will be awarded scholarships for use at the college or university of their choice.

Entertainment will be provided by the Hardway Connection Band and Show.Donation, which includes cocktail reception with hors d'oeuvres and a full buffet dinner,is $45. Tickets will be available at the door.
