CONCERNED BLACK MEN OF CALVERT HOST SIXTH ANNUAL

‘GALA BY THE BAY’ SCHOLARSHIP BANQUET

CHESAPEAKE BEACH, MD (April 23, 2003) – Tickets are on sale now for the Concerned Black Men (CBM) of Calvert County’s Sixth Annual Gala by the BayScholarship Banquet, being held May 16 at the Rod-n-Reel in Chesapeake Beach starting at 7 p.m. CBM extends an open invitation to the community to attend this event which has become a highlight in Southern Maryland’s social calendar.

The formal gala is a fundraiser for CBM’s scholarship fund. That night, three Calvert County high school students will be awarded scholarships for use at the college or university of their choice.Donation, which includes cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres and full service sit down dinner, is $50. Tickets will be available at the door.
